Where great old Macs live again!

There it is, the new yet old Apple //c+. Aside from the obvious yellowing (almost Apple ][ beige) and a missing rubber foot, it seems to even work! The 800k 3.5" drive was a little sticky so my first boots were from 5.25" drives. But now it's working well and booting from 3.5". I haven't been able to confirm the cpu speed but that's something I'll do before getting any sleep tonight.

I was quite surprised to find that if it couldn't find a 3.5" drive it would boot off the attached 5.25". I have a //gs that I can use to write 3.5"s on if I have to so the problem that slowed the adoption of this model, the smaller disk, isn't as much of a problem for me. ADTPro seems to like it so far.

More if anything at all interesting shows up.

One of the greatest things about the //c+ compared to the //c - No external power supply to lose and pay $40 on ebay.

Fabulous! Are you going to retrobrite the case?

I don't know yet. I'm actually looking for the users guide as it seems thatthere are some strange quirks/differences. But given the general issues seen with overclocking of that era in most hardware, this thing is solid.
