Where great old Macs live again!
Fellow collector Mark Johnson has loaned me a couple of power supplies, so I can test my Macintosh Portable. He has lent me a Macintosh Portable power supply...
Well, If I were you I'd:
1) See if there is a memory card. If so, removed and try rebooting.
2) Disassemble the computer, an easy enough thing to do, and clean the motherboard. I had a portable that was 'growing whiskers' on the capacitors. It was dust aligning with the electromagnetic lines of force generated by the caps sapping power from the circuits. It would generate a similular memory fault until I hit the reset buttons several times.
3) Replace the lead acid battery with a good one.
