Well, If I were you I'd:


1)   See if there is a memory card.  If so, removed and try rebooting.

2)   Disassemble the computer, an easy enough thing to do, and clean the motherboard. I had a portable that was 'growing whiskers' on the capacitors.  It was dust aligning with the electromagnetic lines of force generated by the caps sapping power from the circuits.  It would generate a similular memory fault until I hit the reset buttons several times.

3)   Replace the  lead acid battery with a good one.

I just realized that my PowerBook 100 does something similar…
